CAMP INFO FOR
YW LEADERSHIP

What should you do prior to camp?

Leader Info: List
  • Discuss and carry out a fundraiser for your YW to offset the cost of camp.

  • Provide the Stake with at least 2 leaders that will be level leaders at camp. These leaders should plan to be there for the whole week.

  • Set aside at least 2 mid week activity nights for camp preparation.

  • Contact your YCLs and arrange for them help the YW on camp preparation nights.

  • Inform your YW of registration dates and see that they register by April 7th.

  • Speak with your YW about the rules at camp, particularly the dress standard, and the rules surrounding electronic devices.

  • Encourage your YW to bring their own paper scriptures.

  • Please plan to do lice checks the week prior to camp.  If you have any girls that do not pass, please have them do a treatment at home and let the Stake camp director know so we can have them checked again upon arrival at camp.

  • Collect medical release forms from the parents (there is a printable version on the homepage).

  • Each YW and Camp Leader will need to bring a sack lunch to camp with her on the first day.

  • Registration is currently open on the registration page.

  • Registration closes on April 7th- all must register by this date.

  • Fourth year hike dates and times and more information to come.

  • The cost for camp this year is $125.00 for all levels. Camp should be paid for on the tithing slip under other, and labeled  "girls camp."
